Instructions entered in the “Notes for Showing Agent” field are your post-confirmation instructions (i.e. instructions typically shared after confirmation) that let agents know what to do once they arrive at the property to show the home. For example, this can include more information on how to gain access and/or specific instructions such as wear protective shoe coverings and turn off all lights upon leaving. These instructions aren’t shared with showing agents until after the appointment is confirmed.

With the agent remarks in the MLS, agents typically enter pre-confirmation instructions for agents to follow in order to set up an appointment or specific requirements needed to get confirmation. This information is already available to agents in the MLS but we import them automatically in the “Notes for Appt. Staff” field in ShowingTime as that information may be valuable/useful to office staff to help them set up their listings in ShowingTime.

If the office staff doesn’t find it helpful, they can simply remove it.
